Latest Information: The buzz is back! After the hardest shock to retail, pubs and eateries in modern times, the buzz and market town atmosphere has returned to Steyning in bucket loads.
Steyning & District welcomes the re-opening of its door to the world on December 2nd. We look forward to seeing happy smiling faces as, along with the food shops who have worked tirelessly throughout the crisis, non-essential shops open for business again.
Market town shopping is the best there is, with so many open spaces, shops, churches, historic buildings and even access to the South Downs National Park, Steyning has it all for a safe day out!
Steyning and the surrounding villages are nestled in a stunning area of West Sussex, 10 miles from Brighton, 4 miles from the coast and in the heart of the South Downs.
Visitors can wander through the picturesque historic high streets to explore independent shops, stop to have a drink or bite to eat, or wander further onto the South Downs Way
With accommodation ranging from boutique bed & breakfasts, self catering cottages or apartments, come and sample some of the tastiest award-winning restaurants, cafes and bars in the Southeast. We’re waiting for you!
